هدف پژوهش حاضر شناخت تاثیر نوع قرارداد بازار کار بر رشد بهره‌وری کل عوامل تولید در صنایع کارخانه‌ای ایران است. برای این منظور، ضمن استفاده از داده‌های تابلویی، به منظور اجتناب از مشکل همزمانی در تابع تولید، بهره‌وری به روش نیمه‌پارامتریک لوینسون و پترین اندازه‌گیری شد. سپس، با استفاده از شاخص شدت مهارت، صنایع به دو بخش ماهر و غیرماهر تفکیک گردید. در ارزیابی تاثیر نوع قرارداد بازار کار بر رشد بهره‌وری در بخش‌های ماهر و غیرماهر، تاثیر دو متغیر شومپیتری رشد بهره‌وری صنعت رهبر و شکاف بهره‌وری بین هر صنعت و صنعت رهبر نیز تخمین زده شد. نتایج دلالت بر این دارد که اولاً، اشتغال موقت تاثیر منفی بر رشد بهره‌وری دارد، اما در بخش‌های ماهر آسیب‌رسان‌تر است. ثانیاً، تاثیر مثبت شکاف بهره‌وری نسبی و رشد بهره‌وری صنعت رهبر با ادبیات رشد شومپیتری سازگار است.
