مطابق با الگوهای رشد نهادی، برخورداری از نهادهای کارآمد بر رشد اقتصادی اثر مثبت دارد. در میان نهادهای موجود در هر کشور، نهادهای بازاری میتوانند با جلوگیری از شکست در بازار و ایجاد مقاومت در برابر شوکها از رشد اقتصادی حمایت کنند. دراین میان صداقت دولت که به مثابه کاهش فساد در بدنه دولت است، می‌تواند به اثرگذاری بهتر نهادها بر رشد اقتصادی کمک کند. هدف مقاله حاضر تحلیل اثرهای آستان های کیفیت نهادی بازار بر رشد اقتصادی 19 کشور منتخب درحال توسعه با درآمد متوسط رو به پایین با تأکید برصداقت دولت، طی سالهای 2022 - 2014 است. بدین منظور کیفیت نهادی بازار از میانگین شاخص‌های نهاد تنظیم کننده بازار (میانگین دو شاخص مقررات و کنترل‌های اعمال شده دربازار اعتبارات و مقررات و کنترل‌های اعمال شده در بازار کار) و نهاد تثبیت کننده بازار (شاخص دسترسی پول سالم) محاسبه شد. نتایج نشان داد که صداقت دولت متغیر انتقال تابع رشد اقتصادی با یک حدآستانه برابر با 017 / 0 درصد و دو رژیم آستان‌های است که در هر دو رژیم اثر مثبت بر رشد اقتصادی داشته است. شاخص کیفیت نهادی بازار در رژیم اول اثر معناداری بر رشد نداشته؛ اما با رسیدن شاخص صداقت دولت به حدآستانه و ورود به رژیم دوم، اثر کیفیت
نهادی بر رشد اقتصادی مثبت بوده است. متغیرهای کنترلی موجود در الگو شامل سرمایه انسانی، سرمایه سرانه، فناوری و تجارت خارجی نیز بر رشد اقتصادی اثر مثبت داشته‌اند.
